Your Technology Story
An important goal of Tech 2003 is for you to educate your
legislators about your schools’ educational technology needs. You and your students
can help by writing a “story” of technology use in your school. We ask that you
give a copy of your story to your legislators when they come visit you. Bring 50 copies of
your narrative (please provide a copy to Tech 2003 when registering).
Please take a few minutes and write
a one-page narrative that incorporates these points:
A brief description of how
technology is used by your students
Include quotes or comments by
students who enjoy using technology
How has this improved your ability
to teach concepts to students?
Describe how much technology is
available in your school.
Imagine what you would be able to
accomplish if additional funds for technology were available.
Tell the reader what would happen if
state funds designated for your district were cut. How would this affect your tech program?
